Terms and Conditions for Pure Health Retreats

1. Introduction
Welcome to Pure Health Retreats. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for participation in our wellness retreats. By booking and participating in this retreat, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
 

2. Booking and Payment

  • Reservation: A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the full payment or a specified deposit amount, which is non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment Schedule: Full payment must be made by the payment deadline advised in your confirmation email. If the balance is not received by this date, your booking may be cancelled with the deposit remaining non-refundable.

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 45 days before the retreat start date will receive a 60% refund. Cancellations made less than 44 days or less before the retreat start date will not be refunded unless we are able to fill your place. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

3. Participant Responsibilities

  • Health and Wellbeing: Participants are responsible for their health and wellbeing during the retreat. It is essential to disclose any medical conditions, dietary requirements, allergies and mobility challenges at the time of booking.

  • Conduct: Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and cooperatively. Disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the retreat without a refund.

  • Insurance: Participants are strongly encouraged to have personal travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen events. Please speak to your concierge team if you require assistance with the purchase of a policy. You are welcome to purchase your policy elsewhere, please just provide us with a copy.

4. Retreat Content and Changes

  • Program Changes: The retreat organisers reserve the right to make changes to the schedule, activities, and instructors as necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as possible. This does not constitute a refund for you. 

  • Instructor/Facilitator/Host Substitution: If a designated instructor is unable to attend, a qualified substitute will be provided.

  • Program Cancellation: In the unlikely event we need to cancel the retreat, a full refund will be provided.

5. Liability

  • Waiver of Liability: By participating in the retreat, you agree to release and discharge Pure Health Retreats, its organisers, instructors, and employees from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your participation, including any injury, illness, or loss.

  • Force Majeure: Pure Health Retreats or its parent company, Brav Health Pty. Ltd is not liable for any delays, cancellations, or changes due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, travel restrictions, or other emergencies. We strongly recommend a travel insurance policy.

6. Photography and Media

  • Consent: By attending the retreat, you consent to being photographed and filmed. The retreat organisers may use these images for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us and your host/facilitator in advance.

  • Usage Rights: Participants may use personal images taken during the retreat for personal use only and not for commercial purposes without permission.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Data Collection: We collect personal information for the purpose of managing your booking and ensuring a personalised experience during the retreat.

  • Data Security Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. Only information relevant to your participation will be shared with the host/facilitaor and the retreat property.

8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia

9. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking and attending the retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
